Remember that the Hole singer left the stage the event in St. Paul after viewing an audience member holding a picture of Kurt Cobain, only to come back after his entourage to persuade the audience to shout, "The Foo Fighters are gay ".
When he returned to the stage, the singer made some negative comments about former drummer of Nirvana, declaring to the audience: "I do not care what they hear at home, but if a guy takes money from the table of my son, he fuck ".
In a recorded interview after the concert, Love continued his criticism of Grohl, by this allegedly making money with the name of Nirvana, despite "never having written a single note" for the band.
"I was not part of Nirvana," said the singer. "However, I am the owner of Nirvana, along with my daughter, and because of the law, I have to give money to the sister of Kurt Cobain Kim, and Wendy Cobain [Kurt Cobain's mother]," he said.
Love also said: "Dave is five million dollars per concert, he does not need the money - so why does that guy *** he has a credit card of Nirvana Inc. and not me? Last week, he bought an Aston Martin with him. "
The singer also said that Kurt Cobain's mother, Wendy Cobain was homeless and living under the same bridge that Cobain had mentioned in the song Something In The Way, present on the album "Nevermind" in 1991, returning then to downplay the role Grohl of Nirvana in: "He even wrote the drum part for Smells Like Teen Spirit. Kurt owns 100% of that issue. "
She concludes the interview by saying: "Forget me, I make tons of money, my daughter, Kim Cobain, Cobain and Wendy [the half sister of Kurt] Cobain Brianna are all what I care."
