George Michael cancels tour due to pneumonia

The British musician George Michael concerts canceled by the end of the year to be hospitalized with a penumonia, the prosecutor said the musician.

The singer, 48, suffering from pneumonia but "is responding to treatment and is recovering slowly", said in a statement quoted by the Associated Press.

George Michael was hospitalized this week in Vienna with a diagnosis of pneumonia and canceled performances in France and the United Kingdom.

The musician played solo only once in Portugal in 2007 at the Estadio Cidade de Coimbra, on the occasion of the 25-year career.
