Damon Albarn creates supergroup with Flea and Tony Allen

Damon Albarn, lead singer of Blur, will venture into a new project, along with Flea of Red Hot Chili Peppers.
The new supergroup, which also featured Tony Allen, the Nigerian who belongs to The Good, The Bad & The Queen - another one of Albarn's side project - call will be Rocketjuice and the Moon.

According to the interview with Damon Albarn "Irish Times", the debut work of Rocketjuice and the Moon will hit stores in 2012, influenced by Fela Kuti.

About the group name, Albarn said: "Someone in Lagos [Nigeria] did the cover design and gave it that name. For me great because finding a name for more bandwidth is always complicated. "

Remember that Damon Albarn is also mastermind of Gorillaz, among other projects.
