One Direction dominate MTV awards

The British boyband One Direction is the winner of the MTV Video Awards ceremony, which took place this morning at the Staples Center in Los Angeles.

Through the music video 'What Makes You Beautiful', the group earned three statuettes in the categories of Best Newcomer, Best Pop Video and Video More Well Shared.

Chris Brown takes both hands occupied by wins for Best Male Artist in a Video and Best Choreography, through the promo of 'Turn Up the Music'.

Rihanna, who appeared short hair, was the other big winner of the night to collect the most coveted statuette of all: Best Video of the Year for 'We Found Love', which participates in Calvin Harris, and that is done (not important forget) by Melina Matsoukas video artist, who has also worked with other pop stars like Kylie Minogue, Beyoncé or, more recently, Christina Aguilera.
